• Development of brand strategy and execution plans for area of responsibility

• Market development and shaping working with other stakeholders in this area

• Building collaborative relationships within the region and worldwide teams

• Develop deep customer and market insight to enable fact based decisions to be made

• Provide in-depth knowledge on market trends, competition and key influencers

• Works collaboratively within the regional marketing team and with the country teams to support strategic imperatives and go to market approaches across the portfolio

• Coaching and development of direct team

• Monitor and address business and marketing indicators
• The successful candidate will have a strong commercial awareness and understanding as well as the ability to translate market complexities and clinical information into marketing strategies and programs.
• A strong communication capabilities to gain support and commitment from others and drive execution is needed as well as solid capabilities in building collaborative relationships within the region and worldwide teams

• Marketing Diploma or MBA preferred

• +10 years experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sector in marketing, looking after a portfolio of high-volume products (consumables, therapy development, OTC, etc.) in a matrix environment

• International or European marketing experience.

• IT competent, including CRM systems

• Fluent in English. A further major European language would be an advantage

• Willingness to travel minimum 20% (up to 40%)

• Team management experience
